Todays coin features a very cool looking 1927 5 pesos from the Republic of Chile. This coin weighs in at 25 grams and is made of .900 fine silver and has a diameter of 37 mm . They minted a total of 965,000 (all varieties)in 1927. The coin has a reeded edge .
The obverse of this coin features a defiant condor on a rock facing left. with the purity of 0.9 written below the right wing
Lettering above the condor : REPUBLICA DE CHILE
The reverse of this beauty shows the denomination above the date within a wreath.
