West of Portland, Oregon is a beautiful drive along I84. One of the stops along the way is Multnomah Falls. It's actually two waterfalls, with the upper falls being 542 feet and the lower falls being 69 feet.

Following the trail up to the top of the falls gives other views of the falls and the surrounding area. |

In this area of Oregon the Columbia Rivers forms the boundary between Oregon and Washington. |

With the river forming the basin and the mountains on either side, the gorge makes for some beautiful scenery. |
