Before I left for my conference I ordered 16 new ounces of Silver. My first purchases in quite some time actually.
I started by ordering a 10oz tube of random rounds at Spot from Monument Metals. What came back was ten untouched lovely Liberty Buffalo.
But this wasn't enough. The stackitis had only just begun. So I headed over to APMEX to order some of the rounds I've been eyeing for awhile.
The remember 9/11 round is one that I've been looking at since it was such a prevalent moment for the US, and after our visit to Ground Zero this spring, this was a great round to pick up to remember the trip.
I always search for Dragon rounds to add to the stack. This Nordic Dragon stood out as a cool round with the fierce dragon ready to do battle. This is one of two random pick ups from this order as opposed to ones I have been after for awhile.
The other random round I picked up is this Chronos Round. I am not entirely sure why it stood out to me on the order page. I guess I just really liked the idea of a time piece carved in silver. The infinity symbol on the other side is a nice touch as well.
The next one goes on the shelf of "Places we've been" right along with the remember 9/11 round. The Route 66 Gateway Arch piece is awesome with the HWY sign shape of the piece. With our visit to the arch at the end of spring break, this was a perfect piece to add to the case.
Finally two ladies I have been after since the first time I saw them. These girls were on offer in two concurrent raffles in the #ssg but in spite of my participation in both raffles, I wasn't able to snag these two. But now, at last, they have been added to my collection! Meet The Slave Queen and Freedom Girl!
So there's the hot new metals in my collection. I'm very pleased with all of it, and happy to have these pieces added to the stack. With Spot so low, it is hard to see a reason not to buy a few ounces when you can.
Stack On!!
