Well, after more than 60 days since lockdown of my account, I have finally been able to get my XRP and BTC back from the Poloniex exchange.
Apparently, where I live, exchanges need to be registered, and after trading on Polo for a bit - they locked it down, with coins inside once realizing my location's restrictions.
I will say this, while there was a couple long periods of silence from support, they did come through in the end.
But, I was pretty annoyed I wasn't able to sell off my XRP during the recent boom, and now XRP is in what feels like quite the slump.
Pretty pleased about the BTC retrieval, still waiting on both to hit my wallets though.
Anyone else have really good, or really bad experiences with any exchanges?
This was my worst yet, and hopefully last.
What do you guys think? Is Ripple / XRP ready for the next boom? (FYI - Google has money in Ripple)
And, the funny thing is, I didn't even have the coins in there that long. I am an advocate against keeping coins in exchanges, simply because so much can go wrong.
Have a great day!
