- ZERO IMPACT TRAIN -

The world's first zero-emission hydrogen train.

A train that does not pollute and makes no noise.

It is called CORADIA iLINT produced by french ALSTOM, the German train powered by Hydrogen Fuel Cells.
It reaches 140 km/h and with a single supply it has an autonomy of 1000 km.

The first Hydrogen Train for passenger transport started from the Bremervorde Station in northwest Germany.

Hydrogen could be an efficient alternative to diesel.

Fuel cells convert Hydrogen and Oxygen into electricity kept in the tanks on the roof of the trains, in addition, the excess energy produced will be stored in lithium ion batteries on board the same trains.

The only emissions produced by hydrogen train will be those of water vapor.

Only 1 train is currently operating on the Lower Saxony tracks but soon another 2 trains will be added to cover 100 km of route, replacing the previous diesel fleet up to 14 units from 2021.

A real revolution for the society and for the future of transport.
Certainly for now it's a droplet in the middle of the sea, but it's a start. It means that the governments of big countries are starting to worry about the health of our Planet, giving a good example to others .
Indeed, even in Canada, the Netherlands, Denmark and Italy, the "hydrogen turnaround" is being considered, while in France the first train is scheduled for 2022.

I am very sensitive to the theme of the environment and ongoing climate change. That's why I try to share and spread on the fact that our Planet is at a point of No Return, this is why we are responsible for reducing our environmental impact for ourselves and future generations.
