When Jesus was in the desert and the enemy attacked him, Jesus responded with the word of God. It is therefore the word of God a sword for the Christian, with this we can defend ourselves from the attacks of the enemy.

Once I was visiting a church and the preacher was giving a teaching that was not in accordance with the word of God and I thought if this is heard by a person who does not study or know the Bible then it will be easy to deceive or confuse him.

The word of God allows us to know the truth, through it God speaks to us and gives us many strategies against the enemy, but sometimes this sword is not only to confront the enemy on many occasions it also confronts us, for this the sword has double edge.

My brotherly invitations is that we do not put the bible down, it never goes out of fashion, it helps us against attacks.

No soldier goes to war without his weapon.
