Hola amigos de , feliz sĂĄbado. Hace dĂas les compartĂ una receta de sĂĄbalo guisado que, por cierto, quedĂł delicioso; lo usĂ© para comer con arepitas y empanaditas. HabĂa comprado un kilo adicional y lo tenĂa congelado, pero hoy decidĂ hacer estas torticas para la merienda, que me parecen de lo mĂĄs rĂĄpido y deliciosas. AsĂ aseguramos el consumo de pescado y obtenemos una merienda proteica. AcĂĄ les explico cĂłmo las hice:

friends, happy Saturday. A few days ago, I shared a recipe for stewed tarpon (sĂĄbalo) which, by the way, was delicious; I ate it with arepitas and empanaditas. I had bought an extra kilo and kept it frozen, but today I decided to make these little patties for a snack, as they are very quick to make and delicious. This way, we ensure our fish intake and get a protein-rich snack. Here is how I made them:

ââïž PĂĄprika / Paprika
ââïž Ajo en polvo / Garlic powder
ââïž Salsa de soja / Soy sauce
ââïž OrĂ©gano / Oregano
ââïž Sal / Salt
âLo primero que haremos es agregar el sĂĄbalo a un recipiente y amasarlo bien para revisar que no tenga ninguna espina. Les habĂa comentado que el sĂĄbalo me lo venden ya sin espinas; parece una masa, muy suave y manejable.

The first thing we will do is put the tarpon in a bowl and knead it well to check for any bones. I had mentioned before that the tarpon I buy is already deboned; it looks like a dough, very soft and manageable.
âEl siguiente paso es agregar las especias. AcĂĄ tambiĂ©n le pueden poner aliños, pero como yo no tenĂa en el momento, solo le puse eso.

The next step is to add the spices. You can also add chopped seasonings (aliños) here, but since I didn't have any at the moment, I only used the spices.
âMezclamos todo muy bien y despuĂ©s, con ayuda de una bolsa, vamos a formar las tortitas. Por cierto, la primera la hice muy grande đ
đ; ya las demĂĄs las fui haciendo mĂĄs pequeñas.

Mix everything very well and then, using a plastic bag, we are going to form the patties. By the way, I made the first one very large đ đ; I made the rest of them smaller.
âLas agreguĂ© a un sartĂ©n con un poquito de aceite y dejĂ© cocinar de cada lado unos 6 minutos a fuego medio.

I added them to a pan with a little bit of oil and let them cook for about 6 minutes on each side over medium heat.
âY al final asĂ quedaron đ„° me encantaron.
