The sun was very strong and I had to go to her house to get some water because I forgot my water bottle, and I took advantage of that forgetfulness to enjoy her company and have a much better day.

El sol estaba muy fuerte y tuve que ir a tomar agua a su casa porque olvidé mi pomo y aproveché este olvido para disfrutar de su compañía y pasar un día mucho mejor.
