Today's featured beer is another Guiness Nigeria Plc. product, Satzenbrau Premium Pilsner Lager a.k.a Satz. This is a low cost lager with some satisfying persona and taste. Maybe I am being forgiving of it, for its low price. A bottle retailed at NGN 250 against the 300 and 400 NGN of the previous two brews featured in this series.
Satzenbrau re-launched into the Nigerian market in 2006. It is housed in dark gold color bottle, and the pale beer has a foamy white head.
The 45cl bottle has a 5.3% ABV. The branding is tidy, if you overlook what seems to be a common flaw with all beer packaging in Nigeria: the label doesn't stick to the bottle when exposed to moist environments. Satz works pretty fine when seated in front of a computer with Steemit.com open on the browser. Satz stands like a king. If you are on a budget and want to give the boys a field day, Satz is the beer that is top of mind.
