It's been a long, rough week. It's been grey and rainy and I've had a lot to keep on top of. Lucy the Dog has been frustrated because we haven't been able to get out of the house much, just five or ten minutes here and there between bouts of rain. And there's more rain forecasted for tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.

But today, well, today was gorgeous. White, fluffy clouds preceding the grey rains of tomorrow, interspersed with patches of bright blue, and cool, summery breezes blowing steady and soft. We took advantage.

I'm lucky enough to live in an area with several large, beautiful parks that straddle the line between playground and wetlands preserves. Here are a few more pictures.
