Many say he's a nut job. Is he? Is he a threat to humanity as many believe? Well, let's take a look at his astrological chart.
THE LION
Trump exemplifies the magnificent Lion (Leo). Not only is Leo his rising sign, but he's got Mars--a competitive spirit, aggression, willfulness, domination and war--in Leo.
Frequently Leo’s actually take on many traits we can associate with lions: full manes of hair, robust builds, and even facial resemblances to the king of the jungle. Often they can take on overbearing personality traits in some form. And indeed, Trump, whether we like it or not, is the King of the Jungle right now. He absolutely sees this as his dominion and his realm. To add to his Leo, he is also super-charged with Uranus in the 10th house close to his midheaven, which only further amplifies his sense of Power and Authority. In his own mind, being President was not ever a question. President…the ultimate authority, is kind of in his chart, for better or worse: blustery, pompous and outspoken President Trump.
With a Leo/Mars/Uranus combo, it is often easy to mistake charisma and curiosity as genius. It isn't to say he is not endowed with some strokes of genius, but more so, he is powerfully curious (with his sun in Gemini) than intellectual. His curiosity has served him well. However, the mistake he makes is in assuming himself an authority simply because he is in charge. A great leader defers and delegates to those who are smarter and better at certain things.
He is driven to gather and assimilate information of all kinds. This bank of information makes him seem to himself and others as though he is genious in some regards. No doubt he is brilliant and clever, but genius? Not necessarily. The un-evolved Gemini are known for their double talk (one might believe all politicians have a good dose of the un-evolved Gemini), and they are also prone to borrow words, twist them, and contradict themselves.
So why does he spout such absolute drivel if he is so smart and resourceful? (Sorry Trumpsters just telling it like it is ). This has to do with his emotional makeup. President Trump has his Moon conjunct the South Node in Sagittarius charged up by Uranus. This lends itself to hide personality as being blunt, overly idealistic, uninhibited, restless, impatient, and prone to foot-in-mouth disease, off-color remarks (Haiti as a s---hole) and locker room humor.
Another odd thing about Sag Moons is that they are often self-deluded and have very active imaginations. However, their powers of imagination can be so strong that what they conceive as real, often becomes so. This falls in line with the power of attraction, which comes more easily to a Sag Moon Leo, frankly. Often Sagittarius Moons will charge ahead without the kind of worry the rest of us have. They do not think of consequences or perils. And this can actually be a good trait if used wisely. Another oddity is that they can reconstruct something they said or did within their own minds to make it completely different than what actually happened--rewrite history, so to speak. But with the ability to B.S. comes the ability to see it as well. When in his positive, Trump cuts to the core of an issue and has very good intuition about people and things--a great example of this would be in his Celebrity Apprentice show and knowing who to fire and who to encourage.
He also has other markers in his chart that make him thrive on adulation and praise… and perhaps even lust after it insatiably.
The Bottom Line
Is he a nut job? Is he a threat to humanity? Well, he's got the makings of someone that could be--under the right circumstances. Whether he is or not is debatable. Just because he outrageous people, challenges convention, and doesn't play along does not make him necessarily a threat to humanity. Or crazy for that matter.
Will Trump lead us into a nuclear war, or cause some terrible damage to the Republic that cannot be remedied? Well, that's always a possibility. He has very volatile emotions and can be unpredictable. Since he considers himself to be a genius and also sees himself as the Ultimate Authority, this can be a recipe for disaster, as he may believe he can do no wrong--which by default repels correction and guidance.
However, his is a visionary by nature, and his imagination can accomplish things. He is also driven to be remembered as a legacy--one who devoted himself in service to mankind and to the country. So this may balance him out. And to his credit, he is one who learns by experience. We can hope his trial by fire, so to speak, is giving him wisdom that would be a counterweight to his impetuousness.
