Today we're going to talk about my experience as a developer on the Mundo Bot project, led by the amazing Hive account@pleo1542. But don't worry, we're not going to get into boring technicalities; this is more of a chat between friends about what this journey has been like for me. 💻✨

The beginning of an unexpected adventure

I don't even remember how I ended up involved in the development of Mundo Bot. One day I heard that they were looking for someone to help with the project. Why not give it a try? I thought. I dared to offer my help and told Hive account@pleo1542: "Hey, I can lend a hand. I'm not going to disappear, I promise." 😺

He told me that several developers had worked on the project, but after a while, they just left without a trace. I didn't quite understand why, but I assumed they were probably looking for something more lucrative. For me, however, the motivation was different: I wanted to learn, gain experience, and enjoy something new and exciting. 🌟

When it all started

Finally, the day came when Hive account@pleo1542 accepted my help. I was so excited! It was amazing to start working on the bot and, little by little, add improvements and updates that made it much more stable and functional. I realized that I was not only helping the project, but I was also growing as a developer. 🚀

On more than one occasion, without me asking, he reached out to offer me support on personal projects or even to encourage my initiatives. Lessons from the journey

One of the biggest challenges was adapting my skills to the project's constant pace of change. Before, I wasn't that good at modularizing my work, but now I feel like I've improved a lot. Each line of code is more efficient, cleaner, and more functional than before. 💡

There are days when I have to look up answers to basic things and that makes me question a lot. Do I really know what I'm doing? But when I find the solution, the satisfaction is enormous. That duality between "I don't know anything" and "I did it!" has been a roller coaster, but it has taught me to trust my process more and value constant learning. 📚✨

El inicio de una aventura inesperada

Ni siquiera recuerdo cómo terminé involucrado en el desarrollo de Mundo Bot. Un día escuché que buscaban a alguien que ayudara con el proyecto. ¿Por qué no intentarlo?, pensé. Me animé a ofrecer mi ayuda y le dije a Hive account@pleo1542: "Oye, yo puedo echar una mano. No me voy a desaparecer, lo prometo". 😺

Me contó que varios desarrolladores habían trabajado en el proyecto, pero que después de un tiempo, simplemente se iban sin dejar rastro. No entendía bien por qué, pero asumí que probablemente buscaban algo más lucrativo. Para mí, en cambio, la motivación era distinta: quería aprender, sumar experiencia y disfrutar de algo nuevo y emocionante. 🌟

Cuando todo comenzó

Lecciones del camino

Uno de los mayores retos fue adaptar mis habilidades al ritmo de cambio constante del proyecto. Esto me obligó a aprender nuevas técnicas y a optimizar la manera en que escribo código. Antes, no era tan bueno modularizando mi trabajo, pero ahora siento que he mejorado mucho.
