How hard it must be to write for a world-wide audience in a language that is not the first language you learned. Add to that the pressure of monetary reward tied to good writing.
What is the
Curation Trail Project?
On Steemit, writing in English gives the widest audience, and largest potential financial gain. Many new users come to Steemit, and purposely write in English as a way to improve their English language skills and increase their potential earnings.

The
Curation Trail Project has a unique, narrow focus to aid and assist these brave new Steemians.

Hi, my name is Sophia I’m a sinner saved by amazing grace, beautiful love and the blood of Jesus. This is my soul worth. This is my hope. This is who I am. This is my true identity.
Any other thing you might want to know about me, I count as unmerited gifts.
I recently graduated from the University of Lagos in Nigeria.
I live with my parents and an adorable brother.
I’m a huge procrastinator.
I love privacy, I love the silence that comes with it, which sounds lovely.
I feel my heart soaring while I imagine a life filled with creativity, abundance and passion.
I write poems and short stories in my closet which explores life and nature.
I’m a night crawler, I seem to be active after 9:00PM.
I love the beach, sadly there are not so many here. I often picture myself sitting on the beach around sunset when there is nobody around.
My happiest moment is when am with my family.
I’m constantly trying to learn how to be better at things that matter, like living intentionally and appreciating people.

My name is Peace Jimmy, a Nigerian and I am a Pharmacist who loves cryptocurrency and blogging. I started blogging as far back as 2010 on some local content blogging sites.
I love being around friends and colleagues, those who inspire to be my best. There were moments when a colleague carried me around all because I have a very small and tiny body. Hahahahahhaa, am blessed with funny friends all over the place.

I LOVE ART, I was previously going to study medicine (a bit confused) for many years is what I wanted to do but come to my senses, I have been studying everything that has to do with the world of visual arts for 5 years. I love 3D modeling, multimedia, animation and illustration, I always try to mix all my knowledge to do new things

The Smell of Death - Super Natural Writing Contest (SWC) by @afrikablr

There are many supernatural experiences that I can talk about, however, the sweet and bitter encounters with death are the most significant, this life event always leaves lasting traces in me every time it appears.
The strongest has been the the death of my dad. A man of art, cult, inventive, who a few meters away announced his presence with an immense smile, flowers, with colorful outfits. He always appeared with a poem in one pocket and candy in the other.
We knew each other like nobody, even when we did not talk, we feel the other. We had a difficult relationship but full of charms, for him I was his greatest work of art, so much so that he never painted me.
For him, death was another step, he did not fear it, and he always said: I'm leaving this world as I came, naked and suddenly.

This is the part of me one upon a time on Mentawai Islands, they always accept me as a part of the family. I was there for assessment of education level and food security of the community. It's a yearning to bring bright future for them

If you have missed the introduction to BuddyUP you can find it [here] but rather than hopping links, I’ll let you know of some other resources and features that we have implemented for the community.
#grab-a-guide - it does what it says on the tin. We have a beginners section for the initial struggles of the Steemit learning curve. Then we have a channel that displays more advanced guides for anybody who is confident with what they already know and are wanting to change and adapt to some different techniques.
#request-a-bud - currently in progress but this is going to be the bread and butter of our server. Every 48 hours you can drop into the channel and request a random name of somebody on the server.
This is your chance to approach and start speaking to them so you can learn a little bit about someone else and share what you are all about. They might be new, they could have some great tips for you or you might both love the same things. Here you can find a friend that you might not otherwise of found or approached by just chatting to them in a populated general chat.

Chicken and Broccoli in Oyster Sauce
This stir-fry dish is not usual is my country, the Philipines. The most common kind of combination is beef and broccoli. However, beef is more expensive and takes longer to cook so I looked for alternatives. I decided to do a chicken and broccoli stir-fry in oyster sauce instead.
Oyster sauce is traditonally made by boiling oysters and a combination of seasonings which produce a very tasty dark thick and rich liquid. Despite the name, there's no seafood taste to it due to the boiling process. This sauce is used in a wide variety of Chinese dishes and other Asian cuisines.

I just read an article on the World Economic Forum with the title Chocolate is on track to go extinct in 40 years. The idea is that climate change is going to make conditions unfavourable for cacao trees, which is why scientists are trying to create genetically modified trees to save humanity from a chocolate ice-cream-less future.
Naturally, the first thing that popped into my head was "what impact will this have on human trafficking?"
Unless the trees also grow money, it may not make any difference. Saving a crop which is grown by people who are exploited doesn't change the conditions where exploitation exists. If anything, it would enable it to persist.
