I have seen Canada geese pecking at the snow looking for food many times, and it would appear that they are undeterred by any snow. Many geese are known to fly south for the winter to avoid the snow and like to winter in a warmer climate. Some Canada geese, however, actually have adapted and would rather remain in their established territory, so while they might not love the snow, they have no problem surviving in it as long as they have accessible food and open water.
