Elbow Falls is a popular spot in the summer, little did I know it was fairly popular in the winter as well.

Elbow Falls itself is surrounded by mountains and saw some major changes to the area during the 2013 southern Alberta floods.

The water fall that gives the area its namesake is one that is easy to get to and really a great place for photography or to simply stand and listen to the rushing water.
