Photo of the night sky. Taken and edited by me
Today was a super busy day at work. We've just got a lot of stuff going on. Unfortunately, being busy didn't mean I was any more active. I mostly sat at my desk all day. So when I got home, I had to be deliberate about getting my activity in.
I wound up getting over 70 active minutes and over 150 active zone minutes. I'm not sure how fit it calculates each one of those numbers, but I do know if you get above a certain heart rate, the active zone minutes counts as double. I also had over 10,000 steps. That's a decent day for being inactive most of the time.
Continuing with the theme: Each night I post the song that was playing as I ended the workout and use that as the title for the post for that day. Today's song is Resist and Bite by Sabaton. I like Sabaton and I like art based on history. This song commemorates the Battle of Belgium and the specific fighting of a Belgian Company 40 rifles strong that held their ground despite overwhelming odds. When they were eventually defeated, the Germans did not believe they were as few as they were. The story is both inspiring and sobering about the horrors of war.
Well, that's all from me for tonight. I'll check in with y'all tomorrow.
