Hello Hiveians
Am as excited to see the joy in my sister face when I showed her another Ankara ball dress I made for her.
This one was designed in pair, one for her and another for our niece of whom they are about the same age.
Here is the making of the dress..
- The dress was cut about her body measurement, then I added interface here to both fabric and underlining
- Fixing of Zipper
- stitching the neckline and turning it with lining
- Neat finishing for the armhole since the dress will be having a cold sleeve.
- Joining the shoulders together
The half length bodice is now completed, next was to join the full length part which was a straight cut pleated into her measurement and the dress is complete.
