Happy new year once again, am making my first fashion design dress and outfit for the new year.
I decided to try something very simple since most of my outfits are tight and fitted and I want to add some touch of taste to my styles for this year.

I made made out the measurement as seen,a 3.5inch width and 5inch depth for the front neckline, then I gave it the jewel shape as seen, and used a 3.5inch width and a 1.5 inch depth for the back neckline.

The fabric wasn't enough after using 5 out of a 6yard Ankara print for my sisters dress

So I took a 13inches measurements on four fold to be used for my own outfit against a usual 15 or 20inch measurements I ought to use.
This was taking along the whole length of the cloth down to the base line and hem.

Though I have a straight cut for now, the stitching and addition of elastic will make this type of cuts come into shape.
