This will be the last of the Christmas outfit gift that will be going out from meππ can you guess who is getting this? Read along and you will find out.
Many a times we fail to celebrate ourselves. Pushing through the many hard labour, stress and sacrifice to meet our goals, ambitions it dreams in life. We fail to see how blessed we are for the many little successes that comes out way. We want to get to the peak of our careers yet after making a milestone we still do not appreciate that level. Celebrating our little wins gives us more joy, vitality and renewed hope and inspiration to continue a journey.
No house was built in a day and so is the popular one that tells us that Rome wasn't build in a day.
At every point I make any little progress in career and otherwise I have learnt to give myself a nice treat and a gift as well.
This is the last outfit I will be making this year and it is coming to me as a gift to myself. I am grateful for all the challenges that came my way this year, the lessons learnt, self improvement, wisdom , knowledge and everything gained.
For the lost time, privileges and opportunities as well, I believe in fate and the grace for restoration, better things will come our way rather than remaining sad for the things we cannot achieve.
Many a times we celebrate others and forget to celebrate ourselves, this is totally wrong. We must learn to make out time to celebrate ourselves and every achievement. The last day of the year is a moment of reflection and I am here to thank myself for the journey so far.
This is one special dress for me, it wraps up the page for this year and opens the door for more creativity and career pursuit in fashion for the coming year.
I have thought about making one elaborate and elegant design for myself for the seamstress of the year award π€£π€£π€£ so that I can take some shot in it and save this day as the last day of the year but that didn't work as I had too many engagement clothing people this year. If only I have thought about this earlier then it would have been possible
I got this flowery fabric and knew that it will be fit this purpose having taking some time to decide what I wanted, a fitted dress and elegant sleeves
I made the bustier patterns on paper for better accuracy of measurements, went ahead and cut the fabric here
Cut out each piece and then went ahead with the sewing here.
Sewing
Some facing here to turn the neckline
And then I fixed in a zipper neatly

That was done and this is a thank you dress to myself for how well I have passed through this year.
It is a day and moment of Thanksgiving, what are you grateful for?
