Hello Hive
Happy new day to us all. I hope that we have had a wonderful night rest and in good health.
As I am just recuperating I haven't really done any stressful work recently. Two day ago I was at home and took out time to plant some water leaf veggies.
Yesterday I finally visited the farm to check in how well the roos are doing only to be meet with some damages to our corn farm here.
Each time there is a heavy storm like as it is this morning tall plants tends to fall and if they are yet to produce their food as at the time they can get poorly affected.
This corn has already borne it's cobs and is at its maturing stage. I'm not so sure if these corns are matured enough within.
Some of the corn roots were completely uprooted from the ground and the can no longer continue growing but other are still rooted even in this position and hopefully they will do well too
The rains are usually aggressive here whenever it starts failing. It's comes with heavy breeze and storm removing people's roof and flooding the whole stress. Nothing happens in moderation anymore and it's so worrisome. Hopefully we won't have more damages here before these finally gets harvested.
Even till now we are yet to commence farming for this year.
The land has been cleared for tillage. There are no portable tractors here to do the job and being a hard labour we are yet to get labourers. Alot of people are now shying away from hoeing the land. Those are olden days methods of farming. Life has improved so well that I wished that some of these development will reach our ends here to ease us of much stress and burden. There are portable tillage machines I have seen over the internet but I wonder how long it will take for us to get hold of similar technology for farming.
