Happy weekend to everyone, how are you all doing, I hope you all are doing great. I am very happy to great a post in this community today and any time I do so I feel joy in my heart.
I really appreciate God almighty first for the love love he has for me and every member of this comment for if not for Him I don't know how today will look like, I also appreciate the all the leaders of this community and the members of this community for always working together for the success of this community, God bless you all including me.
Today I am sharing the beginning of the work give to me by my old customer, I really feel happy because this days things are really going high and people are really complaining no money and that make people to work on their seat.
The owner of this seat I am sharing with you all is a PA to the Governor of my state, I reupholst is car last year and he really love my hand work according to Him that is why he want me to work on this seat that he believes I will no it will for him.
Not that the seat is bad, he just want to change the interior of the car to another color and I am working on the seat and the door carpet and is really going smoothly.
I am just done with the first 2 front seat , see photo below

Those are the seat and the door carpet I am working on.
Since the man told me he want to change the color of the seat, he ask me to bring samples of leather to him so that he can choose the one he likes, so here is the leather he chooses and that is what I am going to use for the work.
Tools used
- set of sucket spanner
- star and flat screwdriver
- clips
- pliar
- sewing machine
- new leather
- rod etc
Firstly I loose the main seat from the back side with the help of my working tools for easy measurement and upholstery
After loosing the seat I then use a tape and a chalk to take both the vertical and the horizontal length of each pattern on the old seat.
I then transfer the measurement to my new leather
The finally use scissors to cut it out following the line I draw.
After cutting my leather out I then place the new cut leather on tope of the old seat and then draw out the shape of each pattern and then cut it out
I then place and gym the new pattern on a roof material to make it stronger and smooth after sewing
I finally cut it out for sewing process.
I then use sewing machine to carefully join those pattern together has it is in the old seat without making mistake to form my new seat cover
I then use pliar , passing the rod at the center and them clip them together. I have share a video on this.
Then I finally tight the seat back and her is the outcome of it.
Wow this is beautiful, the owner visiting me to see the progress of the work and when he saw this he was so happy and he promised to put another car for me to work for him has soon has I finished it.
