Greetings everyone
I really feel so excited about sharing this amazing post with you guys today. But before I proceed, i hope you all are doing well, and if you ask about me, I am doing pretty well.

Today I am sharing with you guys how to change the old leather of a car dashboard to new. This particular dashboard has expired, and the leather has started pulling off, which makes the dashboard look rough. I have requested a change so that the interior of the car can look neat.
To begin, I first paid a car electrician to take the dashboard out of the car to my workshop so that I could get the work done.

The dashboard has been successful, so it left it for me to start my work.

Before I replace the new leather, I have to carefully remove the old leather first. I used my hand and a knife to get it down. Below is a picture of the OPD leather removed completely and left with the form.

Because the surface of the board will be smooth, if I apply gum to it, it will not be able to gum well. Therefore, I then use rough sandpaper to sand the surface so that it will be rough.

After sanding it rough, I then use the room to sweep out the dust from the board.

Looking at it, the board is rough and is set to be used.

I then pick a sample of the old leather to market to get the new leather I am going to use for the work.
Here is the new leather I am using.

Take the measurements to determine the length and width needed, and then finally apply gum to the new leather and the board. Leave it for 5 minutes to dry.

I put them together carefully, making sure they looked smooth, and here are the final results.

I then give it back to the electrician to fix it.

The car dashboard has been replaced successfully. I hope you learn something from this post.
Thanks to everyone, and have a nice time ahead. See you all in my next publication.
