I am back with the 2nd part of Beauty Of Nrusinghanath as promised . In the previous part I told you about the history of this temple . Today I am going to share you all some more interesting facts about this place .
There is a very interesting story about this temple . According to the legend when people were greatly troubled by Musika Daitya ( The Mouse Demon ) , Marjara Keshari ( Incarnation of Lord Vishnu ) ran to kill the Musika Daitya who never came out from the tunnel and Marjara Keshari waited from that day . The demonic evil power never dared to come out further and Lord Nrusinghanath alias Marjara Keshari has been guarding it since then . The temple is reputed with this mythological history form that day .
According to Huen Tsang who was a Chinese traveler , this place was a centre of Buddhist scriptural learning .
Lord Nrusinghanath is a much adored deity of Odisha and a great fair called as Vaishakhi mela is held in his honor on 14th day in the month of Vaishakha .
Here You can also visit Bhim Dhar , Chal Dhar , Sita Kunda , Panchupandav , Kapil Dhar , Supta Dhar and many more beautiful places .
There is a beautiful garden created near the temple , and also a 28 ft Hanuman statue created inside the center of the Garden .
