Did you know there is a place in the Arizona Desert that was created as a very expensive (several millions of dollars) as a mini earth system? And an experiment took place in the mid 1990's where 8 individuals lived for 2 years in this enclosed ecosystem. The experiment was meant to be a precursor to how people would have to live on a place like Mars. Was it doable? Could it actually be done?
