Greetings Fellow Steemers,
It has been 2 weeks on steemit for me and wow what a ride it has been, I have made friends with many people from around the world, I have read hundreds of amazing stories, I have done over 300 posts (comments and blog ) and I have made over $1340 that has helped me out of some deep water, steemit kicks facebook's ass any day
I know there have been many of you that have not been as fortunate as myself, but granted my earnings came from a comment of all things lol, perhaps I just got lucky as I think I have written some great stuff but never got more than a dollar for it but hey, no other social network will pay me a cent to be there, yes they happily give me a free account while making millions from my eyeballs watching their ads and I will never make a cent so its best of both worlds for me .
Moral of my story here is I am happy and will keep steeming on, I have about $6000 to go and then I am out of deep water, my debtors will be paid and I can actually starting living again never to make another single debt, without steemit I think it may take years still but I am hoping that within a few months I would have earned what I needed, and I fully believe it is possible on this fantastic platform.
For those that havent been as lucky as myself keep steeming on it will happen for you also, I have learnt to not be focused on the money but rather enjoy the socialising and taking in the wealth of information that is availble here in steemit, heck I have cooked a couple of new dishes from recipes I found here, downloaded new software and even learnt more about blockchain.
On 17th Of August It Will Be My Birthday And I Plan To Spend Some Of It On Steemit
