Friends and family often ask how is it that my wife and I have such a happy marriage, despite the problems we have that life brings around, truth is my beautiful wife and I have not had an argument or a couples war in five years, so I have decided to share some simple marriage hacks here with you on steemit.

Communication
One of the best hacks I can offer any couple married or not is communication, make an effort to take 30 minutes out of your day to be together alone without distractions sit holding your partners hand and just talk about whatever comes to mind, it could be about your day or something that is on your mind whatever (men keep it in your pants its not a quickie opportunity lol)

Compliment Your Partner
Every day find one thing to compliment your partner on, yes I know marriage is a different animal and she can really get her drag queen on while he moves into hobo mode but again make the effort and find something to compliment your partner on, and there is always-always something you can find.

Say I Love You
This is an element I really feel is part of the glue in my marriage, my wife and I tell each other at least 20 times a day that we love each other, some may feel its a bit much but hey do not knock it until you have tried it, when last have you told your partner that you love them ?

Serve Each Other
Despite common belief neither person is superior to the other in marriage or in any relationship, yes woman should be more submissive than her male counterpart but this does not mean she is anything less than he is, therefore find ways in which you can serve one another, it can be simply by making your partner coffee in bed every morning there are many ways you can accomplish this task.

Romantic Surprises
When last have you done something romantic for your partner ? this is one of the most fulfilling things to do in a relationship, Guys when last have you last made her breakfast in bed, or picked some flowers from the garden for her ?(no matter how ugly they are) Ladies, when last have you surprised him with some sexy lingerie? (ok you may feel your like an elephant in a bikini but trust me to him you are the sexiest thing ever).

There are so many more hacks I can give you here and perhaps I will write a follow-up to this post, the most important marriage / relationship life hack I can give you though is that it all comes down to how you make the other person in your life feel, believe they are and treat them as your treasure and you will never look back.
