How would you react?
For those of you who don't know I have a 5 year old son name Mason. Mason was diagnosed with autism when he was around 2 years old. It has been a long journey since he was first born. The most frustrating part is the fact that he still hasn't learn to speak. So if anything were to ever happen to him at school we would rely on the teachers charged with his care. Maybe I am over reacting a little bit but this is not the first time that something happens to my son in school and nobody seems to know how it happened.
The first incident was they forgot to check his diaper for the entire day and he arrived home from school soaked!!!!! Nobody in the school claimed responsibility but assured us it wouldn't happen again. This is supposed to be a school that is specialized in taking care of special needs children. Can you imagine being pissed on for over five hours?
So yesterday he arrived home from school with a tooth chipped and cracked down the middle. There was no note from the school or a call from the teacher. Apparantly they have no idea how it happened. Now I am a realist and I understand that all children have accidents and hurt themselves as they learn to navigate the world. I am just bothered because I can't understand how five adults missed him getting hurt. The class only has about 6 kids and I imagine five adults can handle them. Apparantly not according to his teacher. His tooth was broken so badly he is going to need surgery!!!!!
How would you guys feel about this whole situation? I usually do a vlog or blog about crypto but today I cant even bring myself to talk about anything other than thos crazy situation. Maybe if teachers earned more they would take more initiative in their job. I don't want to make excuses but I'm trying to keep myself from turning this post into an NFSW one!!!!! But I always say if you don't like your job quit and get yourself a new one. If you are a waitress don't be rude to the customers because you hate your job. I see this play out in many different places and at the end of the day we as the consumer, client, customer and citizen end up suffering. Receiving poor or inadequate services around the board. They say money can't buy happiness but it can dam sure get you top notch everything. If my son went to a school in a middle/upper class neighborhood something like this would have never happened without an explanation of the events that occurred.
I'm sure many of you can relate to dealing with people that have special needs. Please feel free to leave a comment, tell me what you think?
Oh and best believe we put in a complaint to the Head Honcho!!!!!
