A few years back, I was climbing with a FB rando that I met on the local climbing group. We had a really fun time, but she was pushing my limits pretty hard. My skin gave out before my spirit though, so I snapped a picture of my glorious try-hard moment. Reaching for a really thin, and surprisingly sharp, crimper at the top of a really reachy 5.11a route -- my skin held on, but I couldn't.
