Greetings, dear friends, I confess that one of my biggest difficulties when I do street photography is to follow a logical order. I mean, for example, to approach a specific subject, reflecting some social problem or something like that. Then the opposite happens: I go out on the street and I like everything, everything catches my attention, and sometimes an image with its discourse apparently has nothing to do with the other, it's a dilemma.
But well, I'm already working on that. For the moment I share with you part of this photographic case that will soon be maturing, I hope.
The photos are my entry to the #monomad contest from 
Saludos, queridos amigos, les confieso que una de mis mayores dificultades cuando hago fotografía callejera es seguir un orden lógico. Me explico, por ejemplo, abordar un tema específico, que refleje algún problema social o algo por el estilo. Sucede entonces todo lo contrario: salgo a la calle y todo me gusta, todo me llama la atención, y a veces una imagen con su discurso no tiene que ver aparentemente con la otra, es un dilema.
Pero bueno, ya estoy trabajando en función de eso. Por el momento les comparto parte de ese caso fotográfico que pronto irá madurando, espero.
Taking street photography at night is also a pending subject, this photo is from the side of the National Capitol in Havana.
Hacer fotografía callejera de noche es también una asignatura pendiente, esta foto es de un lateral del Capitolio Nacional en La Habana.
Havana at night is beautiful—or rather, parts of Havana are. The most central area around the Capitol is one of them.
La Habana de noche es hermosa, o más bien, partes de la Habana, la zona más céntrica del Capitolio es una de ellas.
This is one of my favorite photos. I took it at the Colón Cemetery, the largest in Cuba. This small statue looks like an angel or a child, but when I changed my perspective, it seemed as if it were doing something among the bushes, and in the distance, in the background, Jesus watches over it. It’s incredible how simply changing the perspective can completely alter the narrative.
Esta es de mis fotos favoritas, la hice en el Cementerio de Colón, el más grande de Cuba, esta pequeña estatua parece de un ángel o niño pero al cambiar la mi perspectiva pareciera que hace algo entre los arbustos y a lo lejos en un segundo plano Jesús lo vigila, es increíble cómo solamente cambiamos la perspectiva y todo el discurso cambia.
