Hello Steemians!
My name is Lindsey ( here on Steemit) and I’m so excited to share that I’m joining forces with four other amazing women on Steemit to create the Muse Project! If you don’t know what that the Muse Project is, check out our first post that talks all about our mission & why we want to do this important work.

Who We Are
The Muse Project is a collective of 5 women with various backgrounds, passions, & skills, but we’re all united in our commitment to support & hold space for women on the Steemit platform. We’re just beginning our work, but it’s safe to say you can expect BIG things from us!
My Steem Journey
I started my Steemit journey in August 2016. Like many people joining the platform at the time, I had heard about the girl who made thousands of dollars by posting a makeup tutorial video. I didn’t, and still don’t, wear a lot makeup - that wasn’t the reason I was so intrigued. It was the fact that a girl was able to create content around what she was passionate about and succeed on what continues to be a primarily male dominated platform.
That was all I needed to gain a little bit of courage to start creating content around my passions, like yoga, plant-based cooking, health & wellness, and now most recently documenting our full-time traveling and living in .

My Why
I think we can all agree that Steemit is unlike any other social media platform out there. Steemit holds such a diverse user base with one thing in common - freedom. Freedom to write whatever you want to write about, be who you want to be, completely uncensored. It’s helped me reconnect with my love of longform writing, I’ve traveled to some of my dream destinations to meet the most amazing Steemians (and now lifelong friends) at Steemfest 1 & 2, and now I’m overflowing with gratitude at the opportunity to hold space for other women on Steemit to accomplish whatever their dreams may be via the Muse Project.

Steem Creators
All five of the muses will be at the Steem Creators Conference in Las Vegas on April 13-15. We want everyone (yes, men too!) to continue to be part of the conversation & projects that we launch to provide community & support to women.
Only through oneness can we achieve TRUE balance - one of our very one muses gives a beautiful, eloquent description of the balance we’re trying to achieve with the Muse Project in her introduction post - definitely worth a read!
( and I with some of our favorite Steemians we met at Steemfest 2 last year)
I hope to see your smiling faces at the Steem Creators Conference, or even possibly on the road through my travels (we posted our route here). I want to share my authentic experience traveling & living tiny while creating a location-independent lifestyle, and most importantly, staying a student of this grand adventure we call LIFE!
Much love to you all!
Steem on!
