10 years ago in paradise

About 10 years ago I had the opportunity to travel to one of the most beautiful and iconic beaches in my country. Chuao is a beach located on the peninsula of the same name, it is in the state of Aragua, the same state where I live, but many kilometers away from my home. Back then I lived my life in a totally different way to how I live it today, I had less responsibilities and I was more dedicated to me and my partner, every time we could we went out to see beautiful places and eat new things, and well, that has not changed much now, but I feel that before it was much easier and there was much less to sacrifice.

In addition to Chuao beach, we also went to Cepe beach and Valle Seco beach, all these beaches are accessed by a boat that is taken in Puerto Colombia, on the beach of Choroní. It is a trip that, depending on weather factors, can be a bit turbulent, but on that occasion the weather was perfect and in that sense the transfer was quite calm.

These beaches are spectacular, I would even say that they are paradisiacal for many, myself included. I remember that I spent very special moments with my wife and my brother-in-law, we lacked nothing and in addition to that those who received us in the town of Chuao did it in the most helpful way possible, so everything was given to make the experience unforgettable. In addition to the beaches, there was also a river that flows into the beach of Chuao which was perfect to remove the salt from the sea and to lower the body temperature as the water was quite cold.

At that time I had a Fujifilm camera with which we were able to record many of our adventures, we no longer have it, but I remember it with great affection because thanks to it there are these photos to remember those wonderful moments. A negative anecdote of this trip is that near the end of it, I got sick with chikungunya, a virus that causes high fever, headache and joint pains, but despite that I tried to finish the adventure with the best possible attitude, I did not want those who accompanied me to feel discouraged because of me.

As you could see in the pictures, I have changed a lot physically since then, now I have more body weight and less hair, but I keep the spirit and the desire to go out to see beautiful places like this one that I share with you today. It's been 10 years, but I remember perfectly every moment, even the strong fever I suffered on that trip.
