It has now been around one month since the launch of the MydEmpire Pre-Genesis testing phase, and I wanted to share a transparent progress update with the community.
This journey started as a small experimental idea around a treasury-based industrial strategy game on Hive. Over the last month, the project has slowly evolved into a live playable ecosystem with real players, real activity, and a growing community.
Current Testing Phase Progress
After one month of testing:
- 45 Discord members
- Around 30 players onboarded
- 20 players opened 10+ packs
- Imperial Supply Crate π became one of the most popular features
- Players are actively opening crates daily
- 400 factories currently exist across player empires
- 6464+ EP/day global production
- Treasury health currently above 2300 HIVE
The current system statistics visible inside the live dashboard include
- Global production tracking
- Treasury reward pool status
- Active factories
- Seasonal competition systems
- Daily reward distribution mechanics
The game economy and gameplay loop are fully live during testing.
Imperial Supply Crate π Became a Core Engagement Feature
One thing that surprised me during testing was how much players enjoyed the Imperial Supply Crate system.
The crate system introduced:
- Daily engagement
- EMP sink mechanics
- Risk/reward excitement
- Rare fragment drops
- Surprise reward moments
Many players now open crates every single day, and it has become one of the most active parts of the ecosystem.
The crate reward structure currently includes EMP rewards and rare Imperial Fragments. It is free to open for players who achieve a certain level of EP/day, otherwise it costs 25 EMP/day, and can be opened once in a day.
The Economy Is Working Live
MydEmpire is built around a different philosophy compared to traditional inflationary web3 games.
Instead of printing unlimited reward tokens:
Rewards come from a real treasury
Players generate EP through industrial production
Treasury rewards are distributed based on production share
The core gameplay loop is:

This treasury-based system is already fully functional during testing.
Seasonal Competition Is Live
The first Industry Season system is also now operational.
Players compete using:
EP/day growth
Factory expansion
Strategic production scaling
The season system dynamically distributes rewards from treasury performance.

Development Progress β Empire Operations
The next major feature currently under active development is:
Empire Operations
This feature introduces:
- Industrial operations
- Trade routes
- Supply contracts
- Strategic profit/loss mechanics
- Advanced EMP utility
- Higher risk / higher reward gameplay
The system is designed to add a second strategic layer above factory production.
Players with larger empires and higher EP/day will unlock more advanced operations over time.
This feature is currently under development and will be one of the final major additions before the transition into the full Genesis Phase.
Genesis Phase Is Getting Closer
The Pre-Genesis phase was never meant to be a polished marketing launch.
The goal was to:
- Stress test the economy
- Test gameplay systems
- Validate treasury logic
- Test marketplace flow
- Observe player behavior
- Improve UI/UX through real usage
Over the last month:
- dozens of bugs were fixed
- security systems were improved
- reward systems were balanced
- marketplace stability improved
- gameplay clarity increased significantly
Now the project is slowly moving toward the next stage.
Once Empire Operations launches successfully, the plan is to officially move into the Genesis Phase. π₯
Finally...
This project is still early.
The community is still small.
But seeing players actively:
- building empires,
- competing in seasons,
- opening crates daily,
- and discussing strategies
β¦already makes the project feel alive.
