Hello Gods Unchained Fans,
This week I have played just with my Anubian deck and had a pretty good result in the weekend ranking climbing all the way to Auric Gold, but once I got there I suffered 8 losses in a row. Nothing seemed to work against tougher competition, the cards didn't fall right.. I needed to make some changes.
Therefore, I decided to try and make my Anubian deck more aggro to improve it and make it more competitive. So far the results seem good, but I think there are still some improvements that can be made.
The key to winning for me so far is focus around Priestess Takhat and Raving Necromancer taking health from my opponent when an Anubian dies. However, I think they need some further support in Auric Gold as I am not managing to control the board at all.
Some of my initial changes are here to try and make the deck more aggro and gain control of the board more easily.
I think I still need to add some more tweaks to the deck and also try and maybe fit in Canopic Hoarder and Bone Roller.

Today's Battle - More Aggro
In this week's battle I try to make the deck more aggro.
1 Mana
I play second with Lootable Corpse to get some more cards.
2 Mana
Next I play Necromancer and Priestess. I know they can get taken out, but I can bring them back from the void.
3 Mana
I play Hand of the Abyss. My opponent is playing a very aggro Viking deck.
4 Mana
My health drops to 14, but now I start sacrificing some Anubians and taking health from my opponent.
5 Mana
I revive my Anubians and take control of the board. My opponent is stuck.
5.5 Mana
I play Malissian Magistrate who will bring back the Priestess once she dies. This is important as she is a key card in the Anubian deck.
6 Mana
In a last ditch attempt, the viking deck comes out fighting with some blitz attack but it is to no avail really. They are easily taken care of and the damge to my opponents God continues.
Summary
The Anubian deck is powerful but with the higher Auric Gold league, stronger cards and board wipes are proving problematic. Being more aggro could be a way around this.
Weekend Ranked Update
The weekend ranking was pretty good for me racking up 12 wins from 18 and garnishing me with 5 packs today. This was 1 win short of the MJ Rare pack. I managed to climb all the way to Auric Gold with a nice win streak but once there, the Anubian deck faced insurmountable problems and some very tough and expensive decks with an 8 game losing streak on Monday that was not good.
My Collection and Earnings
Since my last update, I have now reached level 207(+7) and have 62(+5) shadow cards and 385(+3) meteorite cards. My collection value has increased and is worth 2052 (2113) GODS tokens and value in fiat of $381($351). Let's see how the value will hold up.
