Passion: Not everyone is born with passion. I was 27 when I found mine, some people find it at 50-70, and there are people who never. The question I ask is whether we are looking for it, whether we want it or we believe in it. If not, it is probably harder to find it because we can walk past passion or give it up too early.
An interesting question has arisen about this. Work and passion meet in many cases, but in so many cases it doesn't. Not everybody loves what they do with a burning passion and not everyone would choose to do the same if they had the option to do whatever they wanted. Is it worth doing a job without true passion? The answer is not that simple. Someone might say yes, someone might say no. Can you really do a good job without passion? In my opinion yes, but with a little passion, the sky is the limit.
Without passion, one gets out of the comfort zone less, test their skills less, sets lower expectations toward themselves, but great work can be done. But I wondered if passion has levels and types. For example I love my parents, my sister, my friends and everyone differently, can I have different levels of passion for work and leisure activities?
It seems clear that the answer is yes, but before we say of course think about it; have we ever thought about it? How much of what we do everyday contributes to our happiness, our self-esteem and passion? If we could do anything would we still do what we do? And if not, what can we do to bring more enjoyment into our lives?
