Today is the most awaited day by me because it's Sunday 🤔....no , because today is basant panchmi, one of my favorite festival. There are many reasons behind it, which I'm going to share with you all😇
I think most of you not familiar with basant panchmi, first let's know bit about it :
Basant panchmi is a Hindu festival that highlights the coming of spring. The celebration of the basant panchmi is centered on the Hindu goddess Saraswati. Saraswati is the goddess of wisdom , intellect & learning.
All wear yellow dresses & participate in the festival. the whole place bursts with yellow during the festival.
we offer yellow flowers to goddess Saraswati.
Why it's my favorite festival :
it's marks the end of the winter season.
that day we cooked something special on this day. Today we made gajar (carrots) halwa.

- fresh blossoms everywhere
