LIGHTS OUT
When the fire burns, with one touch you'll get hurt
Enlightened or troubled you shall soon be
For this light so bright signifies the truth
You shall see what you have wanted to see
When the wind comes, and the firelight is blown
Prepare, for the darkness shall come your way
Get ready, `cause you might become alone
All shall become full black, and not just gray
When the light goes out, there'll be nothingness
Hurt, troubled, alone and everything else
You shall feel all these, then you shall feel less
As to when, you know not... time itself tells
Truth is, when the fire burns, you can see me
And when the light fades out, you can feel me

I composed this Shakespearean-style sonnet because I felt the sadness upon looking at the candle photos that I recently took. This is my first time writing a sonnet. Hope you feel what I feel.
