Twitter is having problems with too many bots crawling steemit too?

I saw this article on bloomberg regarding fake news on twitter due to russian bots.

that's why twitter is still not profitable and not growing, if it doesn't grow (users) it's dying right?

same goes to steem project, now that bitcoin and ethereum is mooning and steem value is sinking who knows maybe steem will be forgotten.
