Nowadays, there are many people who use digital platforms in this digital age, they use them to develop their own skills. But 20 to 25 years ago, there was nothing like this. Nowadays, people are publishing their works to people through various social media.
By doing this, they have taken it as a business. Many people do business through e-commerce. But even a decade ago, people did these businesses offline through their handicrafts.
They used to sell their work at home. Among the handicrafts were various types of thread work made of cloth, various types of art works made of paper and bamboo, and also various types of home decoration items that they sometimes sold. With which they earned money. Then they used this money to meet the needs of the family.
However, most of the women in our country used to do these things before. Many of them did Nakshi and Kantha sewing. Which is known as a brand product in our Bangladesh. These hand-made arts and crafts really show people a way of life. There are many people who love to do these in their free time. They can recognize and understand themselves through their work. They also have some skills that they can use to move forward in life. Since it provides a lot of financial support, due to which people are very interested in doing these.
