It's such a pride for human race to have sent 4 people on the moon and bring them back safely home. I have followed this mission closely all the way through the 10 days. A very commendable job how these 4-crew made it look so effortless. They mentioned their emotions briefly on the interviews and it felt like we are so privileged to get this life.
Throughout the solar system that we have discovered so far, no life has been ever detected, we are the one of a kind living on our planet and that makes us special, yet we do not feel special. We are always fighting for so many things, some fighting for power, some for money and some for survival. We keep doing wars and keep destroying what we have built and our human race and probably the story will continue in the same manner generations down the line. We are all connected and yet so disconnected.
Anyways what this mission has achieved is incredible, it sets a new stage for further exploration with confidence. In future with improved technology better space shuttles will be made which will help travel further. Its funny how in movies we see these fancy and big space shuttles but reality is so much different. The cramped up space that they lived in for 10 days, its all dedication, commitment and sacrifice of these 4 crew. When they took off they were uncertain if they would make their returns, they prepared their families for their no return. It takes lot of courage to reach to this stage. No are no less then soldiers who go on the field to fight never knowing about their return.
We have got some incredible new images of Earth and Moon and I am sure this is going to help the scientists in making their discoveries. I loved the picture of our planet Earth where the glow of the Northern light is also visible. Its a beautiful one. I am sure the celebrations for the crew go on for some time and they absolutely deserve it.
