For this week @Ladiesofhive 2 questions are:
1οΈβ£ What would your perfect Saturday be like?
~ πππ / ππ ~
2οΈβ£ What was your favourite toy when you were young?
My perfect Saturday:
For some of you who follow me regularly, you would know that I am more of a outdoor person and I absolutely do not like being indoors. My friends also tell me that I have wheels on my feet.....hehehe.
For me, an ideal Saturday would be to do a day outing away from the city. That can be with friends or family. The whole idea is to not sit at home. I would not prefer to make it very hectic. It should be a leisure outing, some place in the lap of nature. Up on the Mountains or by the beach side is the perfect idea for me. Even a farm house visit I would not mind. I would prefer an overnight trip than just a day outing. Travel on Saturday and returning back on Sunday would be the most ideal.
If nothing works out, then just a long drive would also do.
If there's no outing plan, then I would like to laze around at home, not doing any office work. Then I would like to spend my time in the garden, watching a movie, spending more time on meditation and yoga and also enjoy my afternoon nap. Evening come may whatever I have to step out, go to the beach, or some friend's place or a mall visit and then Dinner is always out. On a Saturday only one time meal is cooked at my place which is the afternoon meal. Dinner, we always explore new places and cuisines in town.
This is my ideal way of spending the weekend.

Coming to the other question.
My favourite toy when I was young.
To be very honest, I never had any toys of my own. The concept of a soft toy or in that case, any toy was totally out from my childhood phase. Given the conditions I was in, I could not even think about it, and honestly I never missed it either. When you do not experience it at all, you don't miss it, because you do not know what it is like to have it. I was fond of writing, so I had diaries, which I can say were my toys :). That came at a much later age. It was in my teens.
The games that I played with my friends were without toys and all physical games like hide and seek, Kabadi and Hop scotch.
Though when my son was born I bought him many toys and also enjoyed playing with him, somewhere filling up my own childhood gaps.
