The blockchain is the only place where chains are associated with freedom! In the traditional sense of the word, chains connote restrictions, slavery, retrogression, confinement and brutality. So in essence we are talking about positive chains.
In the real world, the bigger the size of the chains, the stronger the bond. Also we have to ponder on the content of the chain whether iron or brass or silver or gold. The constituent is also a contributing factor to the strength. No matter the size of a plastic chain, it cannot hold a bull dog down. You get my point?
Another important factor determining the strength of a chain is the links. By links I mean the junctions. Every chain has a point where it connects with another one hence forming the continuous loop . Without out interlinks the there's practically no chain!
There's this old quote that highlights this better;

How To Relate WWE & Blockchain!

Imagine that you are a WWE Champion like The Rock. Now today it's gonna be a double fight and they didn't pair you with Hogan or Undertaker or one of those other big names. Nope! They paired you with one WWE Minnow. An unknown below-average joe (with small "j").
The fight begins. You psyche yourself with the thoughts that you are gonna fight for 2 after all you have got the strength. Boom! You run from pillar to Post against Triple H and Undertaker. 1 against 2. You seem powerful initially. But soon things begin to fall apart.
Your energy is failing you. joe is still at the corner cowering in fear pretending to be dead after a single punch from TH. Damn! Your strength is beginning to fail you. Soon enough! Try to understand the WWE ANALOGY I gave above and relate it to this blockchain. Steem is just the blocks while the people are the chains/links. The entire ecosystem is made of different kinds of people from different kinds of cultures and backgrounds. It doesnt matter your wallet size, your religious background or your beliefs. You are a link!
Even the bad guys are links too but their links must be discouraged. 🙅 Given that the good guys are bigger and stronger links. In essence everyone must be given due credits for their contributions to the growth of this network.
