Monomad: Capturing moments at the skatepark [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Happy Saturday to everyone, dear friends in the community and lovers of black and white photography. How are you all today? I’m doing well, and I hope you are too. I’d like to share with you some photos of moments I found interesting to capture while I was at the skatepark; I hope you enjoy them.

Feliz sábado para todos, queridos amigos de la comunidad y amantes de la fotografía en blanco y negro. ¿Cómo se encuentran el día de hoy? Yo estoy bien y espero que ustedes también. Quiero compartir con ustedes algunas fotografías de momentos que me parecieron interesantes de capturar mientras estaba en el skatepark; espero que las disfruten.

I’ve mentioned before that all these kids are part of a skateboarding school; what’s interesting is seeing how hard they work on every trick, how they try things over and over again in search of perfection or the feeling that they’re doing the trick better than before.

Ya he mencionado en otra oportunidad que todos estos chicos pertenecen a una escuela de patinaje; lo interesante es ver lo mucho que se esfuerzan en cada truco, cómo intentan las cosas una y otra vez en busca de la perfección o el sentir que están haciendo el truco mejor que antes.

Personally, I've always found photography to be a very appealing activity, precisely because you're always trying to capture that striking moment which for me is usually a split second before the trick is performed or right as it happens; you always end up with some really great, spontaneous photos because of the nature of the activity.

Personalmente, siempre se me ha hecho una actividad muy atractiva fotografiar, por lo mismo de que siempre debes intentar capturar ese momento llamativo, que normalmente para mí suele ser un segundo antes de realizar el truco o justo cuando lo hace; siempre obtienes unas fotografías muy buenas y muy espontáneas por lo obvio de la actividad.
