Monomad: Nighttime skatepark [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Depending on which photographer you ask, taking photos at night can be really tricky, and many (myself included) prefer not to do it. But when you’re in a situation where you have no other choice, you do the best you can. Today I’m sharing these photos I took at the skatepark at night; I hope you enjoy them.

Dependiendo de a qué fotógrafo le preguntes, el hacer fotografías en la noche puede ser muy complicado y muchos (así como yo) prefieren no hacerlo, pero cuando estás en un lugar y no queda más opción, se hace lo mejor que se puede y hoy les comparto estas fotografías en el skatepark en la noche; espero que las disfruten.

Obviously, two things you need for night photography are a subject and light, the light helps you focus on your subject and luckily, the lights at the skatepark were what helped me with this; I also had to increase my camera’s ISO.

Evidentemente, algo que necesitas para hacer fotografías en la noche es un protagonista y luz, la cual te ayudará a enfocar a tu protagonista y, por suerte, las luces del skatepark fueron las que me ayudaron en este proceso; además, también tuve que aumentar el ISO de mi cámara.

Personally, I’m not a fan of noise, at least not the kind my camera produces in photos, but to be honest, I didn’t complain much this time around; I think I did the best I could with what I had on hand, and that’s worth something in itself, especially when you’re trying to take photos while your subjects are constantly moving.

Particularmente, no soy amante del ruido, al menos no el que hace mi cámara en las fotografías, pero para esta ocasión no me he quejado mucho, la verdad; creo que logré lo mejor que pude hacer con lo que tenía a mi mano y eso también tiene cierto valor, más intentando hacer fotografías mientras tus protagonistas están en constante movimiento.
