Introduceyourself

Greetings everyone!

I am Afonso, a 23-year-old lad from a town in Portugal called Setúbal. I have lived in a few cities south and north of Portugal all my life, but recently I moved to London with my partner Hive account@carolinaigs.

I must say, I certainly miss the climate and landscapes of my home country. England is grey, cold and gloomy. However, I am keen on exploring what London has to offer and hopefully find magic and beauty here.

I decided to come to this platform because I was advised by my partner and her friend Hive account@jessicasornelas. They told me this platform would be a nice way for me to express my creativity through writing while also contributing with challenging translations. Regarding the writing, I have to admit that I haven’t felt inspired for a long time to write anything. Even though I love it, I feel the hardships of the last few years brought my creativity and willingness to learn down. Hopefully this platform will help me regain inspiration.

I have experience in IT and a particular interest in technology.

I am very passionate about gaming and am an avid Hearthstone, Counter-Strike and Dark Souls player. Playing video-games helps me get through the day. I am currently gaming on a notebook and Playstation 4 (which I sadly had to leave in Portugal but plan on sending it over).

Moreover, I am a fan of M.M.A fighting, basketball and football. I'm an avid spectator of U.F.C and Bellator and am planning in joining a brazillian jiu-jitsu gym soon.

I also had to leave my cat Romeo with my family back in Portugal, which was also very hard on me. Here's a picture of him.
