Dear brothers of , the idea of talking about characters that inspire us is great, everyone in any and different issues we have chosen who to admire. I want to share that for
the character that inspires his life and his path is: Jesus of Nazareth; truly there is no better example of resistance for love, than that of Jesus, he lived for us and died for us, having given his life for all of us worthy to admire. Every time I have to go through difficult times, I think and his Jesus endured everything for us, and his love was greater than his suffering, we must put our destinies in his hands and everything will turn out well. It is also important to follow his example, that despite being the son of God, lived among the poor, giving meaning to the material has no value before the spiritual.
"What does it profit a man to win the world if he loses his soul?"
Jesus Christ is the main figure of Christianity. Based on the reading of the Bible, in the New Testament, Jesus was born in the year 6 BC, was crucified and on the third day he was resurrected. He is seen as the son of God, who, thanks to his sacrifice on the cross, saved humanity.
Jesus, known as Jesus of Nazareth and also called Jesus Christ by the Christians (Jesus comes from the Hebrew, meaning that God is salvation, and Christ is the Greek translation of the Hebrew term "Messiah" (Machiakh), who is anointed) is the central figure of Christianity; Christians consider him the Messiah and the Son of God (true God and true man, in one person). Catholics, Protestants and Orthodox celebrate it religiously, and even worship it as God (second person from Trinidad); Other Christian currents celebrate it religiously developing more varied beliefs.
The disciples Matthew, Mark, Luke and John related the life of Jesus:
According to his testimony, Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea. Mary, Jesus' mother and her husband Joseph, were forced to leave Nazareth in Galilee to join their hometown. Bethlehem, in Hebrew means the house of bread, has the reputation of being the "city of David" where the Messiah should be born.
According to the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, Jesus would have died crucified in Jerusalem in the year 30 or 33, under the mandate of the procurator Pontius Pilate.
For me it is worthy to admire the Passion of Jesus, that is, his sufferings and his death on the cross; the resurrection observed on Easter morning; Ascension (that is, the removal of our body from heaven).
The four evangelists make the connection with some passages of the prophets of previous centuries as an announcement of the passion and resurrection of Jesus, and his role as Messiah.
According to John 3:16: "God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish, but may have eternal life."
More than a simple "message", Jesus represents for Christians the coming of God in humanity, with the Incarnation of the Word, the redemption of humanity by the cross and the victory over death by the resurrection, which means salvation.
According to Christians, the death and resurrection of Jesus. Preach the imminence of the Kingdom and the need for true repentance: "Repent because the kingdom of heaven is near." (Matthew IV: 17)
From Jesus we find a lot of information:
According to the New Testament, in Jesus, God took the form of a human being, he lived among men to show who God is and what his love, his commandments, his invitation to humanity are. Here is the distinctive element of the Christian vision of Jesus and, therefore, of God.
The life of Jesus and the first Christians is told in the New Testament. The testimonies of the life of Jesus are found mainly in the gospels, but there are also references in Paul's writings, for example, the first letter to the Corinthians. Jesus of Nazareth is often called "Jesus Christ". The word "Christ" (in Greek, equivalent to "Messiah" in Hebrew) means "Anointed of God". The Israelites believed that God would send someone to free them and establish the "Kingdom of God", a transformation that would make God the only King of the Earth, that sins would be forgiven, the Temple restored, that the Romans would be returned to Israel. They called this person the Messiah.
According to the New Testament, Jesus was this Messiah, but it was not the Messiah that the people around him were waiting for. He was very critical of the religious authorities, ignorant of the rules of the law when love required it, and he spent a lot of time with the poor, the poor and the rejected in society. He spoke of a relationship with God, not through the authorities, but directly. Finally, the religious authorities had enough and persuaded the Romans to crucify him. He died on this cross and then they buried him.
According to the Gospels, Jesus is "resurrected" on the third day after his death. It is not about "coming back to life", as in some mythologies, but for the Israelites, one day it would come, at the end of time, when all the righteous would pass to the other side of death, to a life fulfilled, transformed and endless on earth. The rest of the story begins when some women visit the tomb and find it empty. Then there is generalized chaos. Many people see Jesus in the days that follow. He is the same, but also different. He eats, but he also appears in the middle of a closed room. He seems to be "resurrected."
Certainly the prophets had announced to someone that they would die for the sins of the world, the resurrection means that forgiveness is possible, and that more than an additional prophet, Jesus is God himself. For the first Christians? those who believed in Jesus? His death and resurrection thus allow a restored relationship with God, not through religious intermediaries, but directly through Jesus.
That is why I ratify the community of my great admiration for Jesus. Thank you for this opportunity to participate and expose my great inspiration of life, inspiration of love, inspiration of forgiveness and salvation.
