Two of my favorite things have come together to deliver an invigorating and revitalizing experience. Cacao and healing work go together like peanut butter and jelly.
Cacao! The food of the Gods. An amazing elixir. The Mayan people used to trade cacao beans as if it were gold. There are images of cacao pods on tombs of kings. Spices were added to the drink in order to stimulate even more activity in the body. Cacao is a powerhouse of antioxidants. It also has theobromine, a chemical stimulant that is also referred to as the "love drug". Cacao has an aphrodisiac effect and is wonderful for lovers. The stimulation is also great for being creative, meditating, working out, or just having an upbeat conversation.
Cacao is a heart opener. Combined with ceremonial work it can really boost the healing powers. Here in this particular ceremony, there is breath work, chanting, meditating, and sound healing. The cacao helps one to focus more intently and open up a little bit more. It is a spiritual propellent.
Fire!
This drink is made with raw cacao, cayenne, turmeric, ginger powder, vanilla, and a little sweetener. It is extremely invigorating and I think it is a much more focused buzz and less jittery than coffee.
A journey with sound. Vibrations have known healing effects. At the very least one relaxes and stress melts away. The nervous system can let go and get out of fight or flight mode. The mind is at ease and can focus more on the present moment. Feelings of love and acceptance bubble up. Fear and uncertainty wash away. Sound waves penetrate the core and stimulate healing. Sound and cacao. An intermingling of epic proportions:)
Woah! Where did that dinosaur come from!?
