Sweet Spot Artisan Ice Cream is an ice cream shop located right next to Davao Crocodile Park. This crocodile sanctuary in the city of Davao, Philippines, was once home to the late Lolong, the world's longest crocodile.
Sweet Spot Artisan Ice Cream now offers a new ice cream menu made from crocodile eggs. The eggs are obtained directly from Davao Crocodile Park. According to the husband and wife couple who run the shop, Dino and Bianca, crocodile eggs contain 80 percent yolk and are much more nutritious than chicken eggs.
This business began when Dino and Bianca received some crocodile eggs from Dino's uncle, the owner of Davao Crocodile Park. Confused what to do with the eggs, they then tried to make ice cream from crocodile eggs. The result was beyond expectation, they also succeeded in creating delicious ice cream from crocodile eggs.
So far, Sweet Spot Artisan Ice Cream has received quite a lot of attention, both from local and foreign tourists who happen to visit the shop. Many people have enjoyed this rare ice cream and have praised its taste.
