Hello Kingdom family,✨👋
I need to be honest with you all this morning.
Last month, I prayed for an open door for 3 months straight.
Every morning, every night - "Lord, open the door for me."
But God was trying to get my attention through a side door I kept ignoring.
Here's what happened:
I was so focused on the "main entrance" I had imagined - the big job, the perfect relationship, the public breakthrough - that I walked past 3 smaller opportunities God placed right in front of me.
Sound familiar?
I realized something: We often pray for God to move mountains,
but miss the small steps He’s already laid out for us.
The lesson that hit me hard:
- God rarely shouts. He whispers. And whispers are easy to miss when you’re looking for thunder.
- Faithfulness in small things opens big doors. Luke 16:10 isn’t just a verse, it’s a strategy.
- The door you’re ignoring might be the answer to the prayer you’re praying.
I took one of those "small doors" last week. It didn’t look glamorous.
No announcement, no applause. Just quiet obedience.
But 7 days later, I’m seeing how it connects to the bigger thing I’ve been praying for.
So Kingdom family, I want to ask you:
What’s one "side door" or small opportunity you’ve been ignoring because it doesn’t look like the answer you want?
Drop it in the comments. Let’s encourage each other to walk through what God has already opened.
If this spoke to you, give it an upvote so someone else in the community can see it.
We’re stronger when we share honestly.
