Greetings, my people from Hive Naija 🇳🇬
I’ve been thinking about something lately, and maybe you feel it too.
Every year, we set goals. Every year, NEPA, fuel price, transport, and “unforeseen circumstances” find a way to reset everything. You plan to save ₦20k, but generator fuel eats ₦15k. You plan to start a business, but the capital disappears into “family emergencies”.Are we to talk about house rent?... that one is survival in the jungle .
It feels like we’re running a race where the finish line keeps moving.
But here’s the thing I realized: "It’s not that Nigerians are lazy. We’re just resilient to a fault."
We wake up, we hustle, we fall, and we start again. No insurance, no safety net, just prayer and “God will provide”. That strength deserves to be recognized.
So today, I want to ask you:
- What’s one thing you started this year that you’re proud of, no matter how small?
- What’s one thing that keeps resetting your progress?
Let’s talk about it in the comments. Sometimes sharing the weight makes it lighter. And if you’re still pushing despite everything, drop a 💪. You’re the real MVP.
Thanks for reading, Hive Naija family. Keep building, even when it’s hard.It can only get better ❤️🩹🔥💯
