It feels good to be finally active on steemit after a long while.
It was July of this year (2018) that I was introduced to the site by two acquaintances (whom I consider to be friends), 
Our motives are somewhat similar. What they are doing though, is on a different level. While I do it at the comfort my own backyard,
Here is a little information about me.
I am a Secondary School Teacher in the Philippines, teaching Technology and Livelihood Education to 12-13-year old students. On vacant hours, I tried to help boost student’s confidence by encouraging them to sing and/or by teaching them the basics of arts. Through this, I have observed positive results on many of them. Most have become more participative in the class and are slowly showing signs of confidence in themselves.
I am hoping that what they have right now will continue to grow and will someday lead them to a better future.
Even if I am doing all this for free (including the supplies), I am continually receiving priceless rewards for my efforts. I have gained insights and learned lessons I could never have learned, had I chosen not to tread this path!
I am looking forward to sharing with you personal experiences, stories, art works and even moments I have with these children.
